Strung out on Dayquil and suffering from a rotten flu, I sat down on the cold tile of the shower. That's when I started hallucinating about a piece on which I had been working. Between water drops, I saw the piece balloon up, sprout branches that curled into themselves, and change colors. It grew to its full height and width, then erupt in lights. Challenging project. Really rewarding.
