deceive

on our first date, i told my dead husband that if he ever lied to me again (he said i wasn't eating eel at the sushi restaurant, but i was), we were done. of course he continued lying. but i loved him. didn't know the extent of it until years after he died. "deceive" helped me clear it all out of my system. he was a very good liar, and i now know i didn't understand the most basic things about him.
